What Rogers Yahoo! Parental Controls settings can I control for my child?

On/Off: You have the option of turning off your child's access to Rogers Yahoo! Messenger altogether. If you turn it off, your child cannot use Messenger anywhere. This option may be too restrictive for most children.

Restricted Messaging: In order to limit whom your child talks to, you can restrict messaging to your child's Friends List. Only people on that list can communicate with your child over Messenger and vice versa. This is the best way to prevent strangers from contacting your child. Choosing this option also gives you control over your child's Friends List, allowing you to add new contacts or remove inappropriate ones.

Your child must send you a Permission Slip whenever they want to add a new friend to their list. You can choose to approve or deny that friend.

Other features: You can also turn off access to the following Messenger features: File Sharing/File Transfer, Webcam, Chat, Conference, Voice, SMS, and PC-to-Mobile.

To protect your family with these features, you must create accounts for each member.
