How do I restrict my child to emailing with people that I approve? |
By default, the Kids and Teens settings automatically restrict your child to sending and receiving email with people in their Address Book. As the parent, you can edit this list. Your child is unable to add people without your permission.
This setting is not on by default for the Mature Teens access level.
To turn this setting on:
- Go to Parental Controls.
- Click on the appropriate child's name.
- If the child is set to Full Access, choose and save a different access level before continuing.
- Click on Edit Settings for Mail.
- Make sure the option for Restrict email communication to address book contacts only is checked.
- Click Save Settings if you've made any changes.
To protect your family with these features, you must
create accounts for each member.
