How do I always block a particular site? |
On the whole, the default settings protect your child from inappropriate material. However, if there is a site that is not blocked that you want to block, add that site to the list Never allow access to these sites. To do this:
- Go to Parental Controls.
- Click on the approriate child's name.
- If the child is set to Full Access, change their access level to one of the other choices and save the new setting before continuing on.
- Click on Allow/Block Specific Websites.
- Type in the URL of the site into the section labelled Never allow these sites.
- Click Add.
- When you're done adding sites, click Save Settings.
Alternatively, if your child has sent you a Permission Slip to view a particular web site, you can approve or deny access to this site for them. For more information, read about Permission Slips.
To protect your family with these features, you must
create accounts for each member. Furthermore, you must
install and
activate a program on each PC used.
Is this enough information?
