How do I restrict my child to just a handful of sites that I approve?

If you only want to allow your child to view web sites that you've hand-picked, you will need to let your child know which sites they can visit and how to navigate to them, such as via a bookmark.

To set up Parental Controls - Custom List:

  1. Go to Parental Controls.
  2. Click on the appropriate child's name.
  3. If the child's access level is set to Full Access, change it to one of the other settings and save those settings before continuing.
  4. Click on Edit Settings for the Web Filter.
  5. Click on the option titled Only allow and restrict specific sites I choose.
  6. Click Save Settings.
  7. Click Block/Allow Specific Web sites and choose which sites to allow.
  8. When you are finished adding sites, click Save Settings.

To protect your family with these features, you must create accounts for each member. Furthermore, you must install and activate a program on each PC used.
