How do I know if Parental Controls are on?

You can tell Parental Controls are on in a number of ways:

• The sign in panel tells you that Parental Controls are on.
  
  
• Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection Dashboard shows Parental Controls as On. To open Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection Dashboard, do one of the following:
  • Double-click the desktop icon.
  • Right-click the Online Protection system tray icon and select Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection from the menu.
  • Click the Protection button on the toolbar of the Rogers Yahoo! Browser.
  • Select, starting from the Start menu, the following successive menu items: Programs > Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet > Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection.
  
  Other states are for Parental Controls are Not Installed or Off.
  
  
• After you sign in to Rogers Yahoo! Messenger, there can be a list of functions your parent has not allowed, and these show up as inactive gray text and icons in Rogers Yahoo! Messenger.
  
  
• In Rogers Yahoo! Mail, there can show be a notification on the main page and small lock icons in your Address Book if your parents have selected controls for Rogers Yahoo! Mail.
