What will Yahoo! Pop-Up Blocker stop? |
Rogers Yahoo! Pop-Up Blocker will
stop windows that try to open automatically. Examples:
- Pop-up and pop-under ads
- Windows that open after a page loads
- Windows that open when you leave a site
- Windows that open when you close your browser
Rogers Yahoo! Pop-Up Blocker will
allow windows that open because you clicked to go there. Examples:
- Links that open in new windows
- Pop-ups from any site that you add to your Allowed List
- Press and hold the CTRL key while clicking a link to override Rogers Yahoo! Pop-Up Blocker and allow any pop-up windows resulting from the click
Rogers Yahoo! Pop-Up Blocker
does not stop:
- Instant messaging windows
- Error windows
- Flash or DHTML windows within the browser
- Windows that open because of software or adware on your computer*
