How do I update my Signature Files?

You click Update Antivirus in the Update tab of the full Anti-Virus application included with Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection.

To do this, first open Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection Dashboard in one of these ways:

• Double-click the desktop icon.
• Right-click the Online Protection system tray icon and select Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection Dashboard from the menu.
• Click the Protection button on the toolbar of the Rogers Yahoo! Browser.
• Select, starting from the Start menu, the following successive menu items: Programs > Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet > Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection Dashboard.

With the dashboard open, follow these steps:

1. Click the Anti-Virus tile in the list.
   The tile expands.
2. Click Edit Settings in the lower left of the expanded tile.
   This will launch the full Anti-Virus application included with Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection.
Click Update, the second tab.
4. Click Update Antivirus.
   At this point one of two things happens:
   • the latest update is downloaded and applied
   • the updater displays a message that you already have the latest version

Keep in mind that after you connect to the Internet, the Anti-Virus software automatically checks for and, if needed, downloads and applies updates to the signature file.
