How do I appeal if I don't think my program should be detected?

The Appeals process for removal from the Rogers Yahoo! Anti-Spy Pest Definition database begins with the submission of the proper information to PestPatrol through the review request form.

Please note, the following must be true for the Appeals process to proceed:

  • You represent the author or company that created the original application. We do not take requests from third parties.
  • You have reviewed the Scorecard against your application.
  • You have submitted the proper information (anything less could delay the process).

When the information is received, you will be contacted by PestPatrol (not Rogers) to review the information they have gathered on the application in question. If the end result of the appeal finds that the application should be removed from the Pest Definition database, a new data file will be generated and made available to all application users.

The entire process takes three weeks.
