My toolbar is stuck on "Retrieving Buttons." How can I correct this?

There might be several reasons for this message:

  • You're not connected to the Internet. You need to be connected to the Internet to get your buttons.
  • There might be problems connecting to Yahoo! servers, causing a delay in getting your buttons. If you get them sometimes, or if you wait awhile and then they appear, this is the most likely reason.
  • Some company firewalls prevent the buttons from appearing. The newer versions of Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar have resolved most of these issues. Please download the latest version on the Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar home page.
  • Try clicking the "Toolbar Settings" button and selecting "Refresh Toolbar" from the pull-down menu.
