I installed Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar, but I don't see the toolbar. |
There are many reasons your toolbar might not be visible. Here are some of the most common problems and resolutions.
Toolbar Hidden
In your IE menu bar, open the View menu, and select "Toolbars".

Make sure there's a checkmark next to "Yahoo! Toolbar". If there's no checkmark, the toolbar won't appear. If it's already checked, IE may have become confused—try unchecking it and rechecking it. If you don't see Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar mentioned there, you don't have Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar installed. Please go to the Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar page and install it.
Toolbar Dragged Off Window
If you see a Y! anywhere in the top of your web browser, then Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar has been installed, but is showing up in an unusual place.

If you don't see the Y! or the toolbar, try closing all web browser windows, then restart your web browser.
Toolbar Dragged Off Visible area
Sometimes either by installing new software or accidentally dragging the toolbar somewhere, the Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar can be dragged off the visible area of Internet Explorer.
Conflicting Toolbars
Some forms of adware and spyware install toolbars in Internet Explorer that will hide or disable other toolbars, including Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar. To remove other toolbars in IE, please do the following:
Due to the wide variety of toolbars, it's impossible to provide instructions for removing them all. However, the two most common methods are to use a menu item in the toolbar titled "Uninstall" or "Remove," or to use Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel to remove the toolbar by finding the toolbar name listed in View > Toolbars menu.
Corrupt Toolbar Installation
If you're still having problems, your Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar installation might have been corrupted. To ensure you have a clean install, please do the following:
Outdated or Problematic IE installation
Make sure you're running the most recent version of Internet Explorer with all the latest patches by selecting Windows Update from the Tools menu of IE and checking for updates.
