How do voicemail alerts work in Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar?

Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar can alert you when you receive new voice messages even when you're not signed in to Rogers Yahoo! Messenger, and allow you to quickly launch and sign in to Rogers Yahoo! Messenger to listen to your voicemail. Just add the Messenger button to your toolbar and sign in to enable this feature.

When you receive a new voicemail, you'll see the Messenger button change, and the message "New voice message(s)" appears above your Contact List in the Messenger button.

The Messenger button requires Rogers Yahoo! Messenger 7.0 or newer. To check the version of your Rogers Yahoo! Messenger client, select "About Yahoo! Messenger" from the Messenger Help menu.

If you have Rogers Yahoo! Messenger installed but don't have the Messenger button on your toolbar, you can add it to your Rogers Yahoo! Toolbar now (this requires sign-in).
