A Windows LiveTM (MSN) user has added me to their contact list. How do I start IMing with this user?

IMing between Rogers Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Live™ Messenger requires both parties to use their Messenger’s latest version. There’s version 8.0 of Rogers Yahoo! Messenger for you, and a version of the Windows Live user.

If you already downloaded Rogers Yahoo! Messenger and they sent you an invitation from the Windows Live™ Messenger, it’s easy: simply accept their invitation. You’ll appear in their contact list, and they will appear in yours.

If you haven’t already downloaded Rogers Yahoo! Messenger version 8.0 and your friend has downloaded the Windows Live™ Messenger, you’ll be given a link in your Windows Live™ Messenger friend’s invitation. Do you see it? Click it and follow the instructions, and you’ll be IMing with your Windows Live pal in no time.
