If I use Yahoo! Domains, can I switch to Rogers Yahoo! Mail Personal Address?

In order to switch from a Rogers Yahoo! Domains account to a Rogers Yahoo! Mail Personal Address account, you need to cancel your Rogers Yahoo! Domains account, then submit a new online order for Rogers Yahoo! Mail Personal Address.

Your domain renewal fees continue to be paid by Yahoo! as long as you continue at Yahoo! for this domain. To ensure that Rogers Yahoo! continues to pay for your domain, you should sign up for another Rogers Yahoo! service within 14 days of canceling your Rogers Yahoo! Domains account. After 14 days, your domain name might be reassigned to Internet Names WorldWide (INWW). If reassignment occurs, INWW will send you an email with more information about how to manage and renew your domain with them.

To close your Rogers Yahoo! Domains account, please do so online using your Web Console. When you are logged in, click the "Close Account" option. Choose the second option that reads: "Close my account. I no longer wish to renew my domain. I understand that Rogers Yahoo! will not pay for subsequent renewals of my domain. This is the correct option to choose if you are planning to move to another Rogers Yahoo! service using the same domain name."

You might also need to wait up to two hours before you can place an order for this domain name through Rogers Yahoo! Mail Personal Address.

For your reference, we recommend you print out all confirmation screens for the forms you submit.
