How do I save a message to my Sent folder?

Rogers Yahoo! Mail automatically saves your sent messages to your Sent folder. Handy!

Would you like to not save your sent messages? If so:

  1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Rogers Yahoo! Mail page.
  2. At the top of the list on the left side of the page, click General.
  3. Un-check the box next to "Save a copy of the message in the Sent folder".
  4. Click Save Changes above the options area.

Now, Rogers Yahoo! Mail will not save a copy of each outgoing message in your Sent folder. If you want to switch back to having Rogers Yahoo! Mail save your sent messages, no problem: just put a check back in the box by "Save a copy of the message in the Sent folder".

Messages in your Sent folder are marked as unread (bold) until you yourself open them. This doesn't have anything to do with whether or not the recipient has received or read your message.

You can move messages out of the Sent folder, but after a message has been moved out, it can't be moved back in. Messages can't be moved into the Sent folder from other folders.

Messages in your Sent folder are arranged by date (which you can change, if you want) starting with the most recent at the top.

If you begin composing a message and save it as a draft (click Save Draft) without sending it, it’s saved in your Drafts folder rather than your Sent folder.
