How do I create a vacation response?

Yes – It’s a vacation sensation going out across the nation: your vacation quotation! OK well anyway, would you like to notify others you won’t be returning their emails for a spell? Can-do. Your vacation response will automatically reply to anyone who sends you an email.

To set a vacation response:

1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page.
2. From the list on the left, click Vacation Response.
3. Check the box that says "Enable auto-response during your vacation".
4. Select start and end dates for your trip.
5. Type a subject, then the Message you wish to automatically send. We’ve provided a sample to get you going.
6. Check the box to “Send a sample copy to my Inbox” if you wish.
7. Click Save Changes at the top.

Messages filtered to the Spam folder will not receive an automatic response.
