How do I scan files attached to emails people send me? |
When you click an attachment name in the "header" section above the text of the email, Rogers Yahoo! Mail scans it with Norton AntiVirus automatically. You don't have to do anything! A window will open giving you the virus-scan results. In that window, you can then click the "Download Attachment" button.
Note: Virus scanning might not be able to detect all viruses and variants. Please be aware that there is a risk involved whenever downloading email attachments to your computer or sending email attachments to others. As provided in the Terms of Service, neither Yahoo! nor its licensors are responsible for any damages caused by your decision to do so.
We recommend that you never download files from an unknown source.
