Why am I receiving spam to my extra mail address?

Spammers engage in what's called "dictionary attacks." These spammers attempt to send to every possible email address that they can think of. You're most likely the victim of one of these dictionary attacks, especially if you have a common extra mail address in the format of firstname.lastname@rogers.com.

Take a look at some of our tips for dealing with spam. You could also consider deleting your extra mail address.
