I deleted messages, but my quota didn't update. Why?

Did you delete your biggest ones? The messages with huge attachments, or lots of attachments, take up the most room in your account. And they aren’t just in your Inbox! They also turn up in your Sent Folder, like from when you attach a gigantic video clip or large group of photos to an email you send out. Look in ALL your folders for these big storage-takers—the amount of storage they occupy is listed in the Size column on the far right.

Note: If your quota’s still not moving, try clicking Empty next to the trash folder. When asked if you want to delete all messages, click Yes to delete or No to return to the previous page.
