Can I save an unfinished email as a draft without sending it? |
Yes! You gotta run, and you haven’t wrapped it up yet? No problem. Click Save as a Draft. It’s to the right of Send above the message window.
You can go back and open the saved draft at any time:
Tip: Use Drafts for “form” letters
Do you ever have text of an email you’d like to individually send to many different people (so only their name appears after To:, and only their name appears at the top—for example, Dear Wendy)? Saving draft messages is an excellent way to create templates for form letters. Click on it, address and send it to someone. Then go click on it again and address and send it to someone else. Repeat this as many times as you’d like! Messages saved in your Draft folder will remain there until you delete them.
