How do I scan files attached to emails people send me?

To scan an attachment, just click Scan and Save to Computer. After clicking this link, you'll see a scan results page. If Rogers Yahoo! Mail’s Norton AntiVirus finds a virus, the file will automatically be cleaned. If no virus is detected, click Download Attachment. You can then choose to either open or save the file.

Note: Virus scanning may not be able to detect all viruses and variants. Please be aware that there is a risk involved whenever downloading email attachments to your computer or sending email attachments to others. As provided in the Terms of Service, neither Rogers Yahoo! nor its licensors are responsible for any damages caused by your decision to do so.

We recommend that you never download files from an unknown source.
