What is Rogers Yahoo! Address AutoComplete and how do I use it?

When you’re starting to compose an email, Rogers Yahoo! Address AutoComplete makes filling-in the “To:” line quicker and easier by suggesting matches from your Rogers Yahoo! Address Book as you type.

Note: Rogers Yahoo! Address AutoComplete only recognizes contacts already entered in your Rogers Yahoo! Address Book.

Rogers Yahoo! Address AutoComplete works on Windows and Macintosh computers with the following browsers:

  • PC—IE 6.0+, Netscape 7.2+, Firefox 1.0+
  • Mac—Firefox 1.0+, Safari
  • Address Autocomplete does not work for Opera and non-JavaScript enabled browsers.

To use it:

Click Compose.

In the To:, Cc:, or Bcc: field, start typing either the first name, last name or nickname of a person in your Address Book. For example, start typing “Jo…”, and AutoComplete will show you all the Joes, Joannes, Johns and jogger24s (etc.) in your Address Book. Just click on the person you want. You can also use the keyboard arrow keys to select an address and press the Enter key to insert it.

To add more addresses, put a comma (,) after the address you entered first and start typing a new contact.
