What can I do if I reach my limit, and I can't delete my base name?

If you reach the limit—two base name deletions—you can't delete your base name again. Sorry! It's a rule we maintain to prevent fraud.

If you want to delete your base name because your disposable addresses receive too much spam, just identify the addresses that are getting the spam and delete them individually.

To delete a disposable email address:

  1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page and select Mail Options.
  2. Under "Spam", click AddressGuard.
  3. Toward the bottom of the page, click Set up a disposable address.
  4. Click the address you want to delete.
  5. Click Delete, or press Delete on your keyboard.
  6. Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete Disposable Address.
