Can I compose messages from a disposable address?

You bet. Why not? We want Rogers Yahoo! AddressGuard to be able to do whatever you want it to do. So:

  1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page and select Mail Options.
  2. Under "Spam", click AddressGuard.
  3. Toward the bottom of this page, click Set up a disposable address.
  4. Select the address you want to send messages from, and click Edit.
  5. Check the "Allow mail to be sent from this address" box, and enter the name you’d like anyone receiving mail from this address to see.
  6. Click Save Changes.

Now the address will show up in your From: pull-down menu on the Compose screen.

Note: We always use the disposable address that received the message as the reply address unless you manually change it when replying.

If I send Yahoo! Mail from my mail client (Outlook, etc.), can I use AddressGuard?
