Can I compose messages from a disposable address? |
You bet. Why not? We want Rogers Yahoo! AddressGuard to be able to do whatever you want it to do. So:
- Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page and select Mail Options.
- Under "Spam", click AddressGuard.
- Toward the bottom of this page, click Set up a disposable address.
- Select the address you want to send messages from, and click Edit.
- Check the "Allow mail to be sent from this address" box, and enter the name you’d like anyone receiving mail from this address to see.
- Click Save Changes.
Now the address will show up in your From: pull-down menu on the Compose screen.
Note: We always use the disposable address that received the message as the reply address unless you manually change it when replying.
If I send Yahoo! Mail from my mail client (Outlook, etc.), can I use AddressGuard?
Is this enough information?
