How do I change my Rogers Yahoo! Browser's appearance?

To change the overall appearance of your Rogers Yahoo! Browser:

  1. Click the "Appearance" category on the Yahoo! Browser Options window.

The Appearance options page allows you to specify how you want the Yahoo! Browser and Sign-In window to look. (This setting does not affect the look of other Rogers services, which each have their own appearance settings.)

  2. To change the colour and style of the Yahoo! Browser's borders and graphics, click the "Change Skin" button.

The Skin Chooser appears. The name of the selected skin appears at the top along with an example of that skin.

  3. To see an example of another skin, such as Classic, select it from the pull-down list.
  4. Select the skin you want to use; then click the "OK" button.

    The change takes effect immediately.

  5. To change the size of the text that appears on web pages you visit with the browser, click a point on the Web Page Text slidebar to change to smaller or larger text.
  6. Click the "Test" button.

The size of the text on the web page behind the Yahoo! Browser Options window changes to the size you selected.

Tip: Move the Yahoo! Browser Options window around, if necessary, to see the effect of the change.

  7. Under Web Page Graphics:
    • To display images and play sounds when you visit a web page that includes images and/or sounds, check the box next to "Show pictures and sounds associated with web pages."
    • To allow the browser to resize images automatically to fit in your browser window no matter what size it is, check the box next to "Enable Automatic Image Resizing."
  8. To change the size of the icons on the Yahoo! Browser Toolbar, select either "Small Icons" or "Large Icons."

The size of the icons does not change until you click the "OK" button.
