How do I change the appearance and functionality of my tabs?

To change the appearance and functionality of your tabs:

1. Click the "Tabs" category on the Yahoo! Browser Options window.
2. Under Tabbed Browsing Options, check the box next to each option to enable it as follows:
   • Load new tabs from the current page in the background: This option sets new tabs to appear "behind" the currently displayed tab.
   • Hide the tab bar when only one tab is open: When you check this option, the tab bar appears only if you have multiple tabs open. This control does not affect the "Tab" button, which always remains visible. So you can add a tab if you want. When you do, the tab bar reappears.
   • Open link in new tab when middle mouse button is clicked: If your mouse has three buttons, this option allows you to open a new tab when you click a link with the middle mouse button.
   • Open shortcuts in new tabs: This setting opens a new tab whenever you click a shortcut.
3. Under Tab Bar Location, click to select the desired location for the tab bar.
