How do I access my Rogers Yahoo! Address Book using the Sidebar?

The Rogers Yahoo! Address Book is an online contact manager that helps you organize and communicate with people you know. It is similar to a paper or desktop address book but with many more features and functions. You use the address book to store all of your contact information about individuals and companies. Because the address book is online, you can access it with an Internet connection from anywhere in the world.

The Rogers Yahoo! Address Book mini-module serves as a button that you can click to make address book the active Sidebar module.

When Yahoo! Address Book is the active Sidebar module, you can:

  • Click a contact's name to display the contact information for that person in a slide-out window. Click a contact's name in the slide-out window to add or edit that contact's information on the standard Edit Contact page.
  • Search for a contact in your address book by simply typing one character at a time in the search field at the top of the Yahoo! Address Book Sidebar module. For each character you type, the list shortens to only those names that meet your search criteria. After you find the contact, you are looking for, you can click "view all" to refresh the complete list of contacts.
  • Click a contact's email address to open a new message window with the email addressed to the selected contact. This window is the same as the Compose Message window in the full Yahoo! Mail application.
  • Click the >> button on the Yahoo! Address Book Sidebar module to access additional options, such as displaying the full Rogers Yahoo! Address Book application, adding a contact, importing your contacts from another application, setting your view preferences, and refreshing the content of the Yahoo! Address Book Sidebar module.
