How do I view my browsing history? |
If you want to return to a web page you visited in the current browsing session (that is, since the last time you opened your Rogers Yahoo! Browser), you can simply click the down-arrow on the Back button and select the web page to which you want to return. You can also return to a web page that you visited prior to the current browsing session by using the History Sidebar module. This process is described below.
The History mini-module serves as a button that you can click to make History the active Sidebar module.
When History is the active Sidebar module, you can:
- View the web pages you visited on a particular date by clicking the desired date folders.
- Go to any web page listed in the History Sidebar module by clicking the link for that page.
- Search through your history by clicking the "Search" icon, entering the keyword(s) you want to find, and then clicking the "Search" button. Then you can click any web page listed in the search results to go to that page.
- Specify the way you want to view the links in your browsing history by clicking the
>> button on the History Sidebar module to access additional options. Select "View" and then select the order you prefer from the cascading menu.
- Clear your browsing history by clicking the >> button on the History Sidebar module and selecting "Clear" from the option menu. A message prompts you to confirm that you want to delete your entire history of visited web sites. Click
the "Yes" button.
- Change the number of days of your browsing history that you want to record by clicking the >> button on the History Sidebar module and selecting "Options" from the option menu. The Sidebar Options - History page appears. Select the number of days you want to record from the pull-down menu, and then click the "OK" button.
