What are tabs and tab-browsing? |
Tabbed browsing allows you to open tabs, each displaying a web page, within a single Rogers Yahoo! Browser window. This frees up space on your desktop, because you no longer need to have several windows open to visit several different web pages. You can open, close, and reload web pages conveniently in one place without having to switch to another window.
Since each tab functions like a Yahoo! Browser window, you can switch back and forth among a number of web pages with a single click without having to use the Windows task bar. For example, while viewing search results on one tab, you can click multiple links in those search results and display the linked pages on background tabs. This eliminates the need to use your Back button to go back to the search results page from the linked pages.
