How do I clear my Rogers Yahoo! Browser's cache?

When you visit a web site, your Rogers Yahoo! Browser automatically copies that page and saves it on your hard drive in a folder called a cache. This automatic process is called caching. When you cache a page, that page loads much faster the next time you visit it, because the browser does not have to download it all over again. It reloads the page from the cache on your hard drive.

Your cache has a limited size and, eventually, it will fill up. When this happens, your Rogers Yahoo! Browser automatically deletes the oldest cached pages to make space for the new ones. Even though your browser performs this operation automatically, clearing your cache manually on occasion can help improve your browsing experience. In addition, if your browser hangs or freezes frequently, it may help to clear the cache.

To clear your cache in the Yahoo! Browser:

  1. From the Tools menu, select "Internet Options."
  2. On the General tab, under Temporary Internet Files, click the "Delete Files" button.
  3. Click "OK" to close the Internet Options window.
