Starting with Yahoo!7 Toolbar 6.2 for Internet Explorer, the toolbar periodically alerts you about helpful toolbar features.

Some examples of these tips are:
- A tip on how to use the search and navigation features of Yahoo!7 Toolbar when you first start it after installation.
- A tip regarding the News button along with a quick way to add it to your Yahoo!7 Toolbar if you visit Yahoo!7 News.
- A reminder when you sign out of Yahoo!7 Mail that signing out prevents you from receiving new mail notifications through the Yahoo!7 Toolbar.
Depending on your browser settings, you should typically see each tip only once. We hope you find these reminders useful. However, if you want to stop these feature tips from appearing you can do the following:
- Click "Toolbar Options" under the Pencil menu.
- Under the "More Options section of the Toolbar Options dialog, uncheck "Enable Feature Tips".
- Click "OK".
- You'll no longer receive feature tips from the Yahoo!7 Toolbar.
To turn the feature tips back on, return to the Toolbar Options dialog and re-check the "Enable Feature Tips" checkbox.
