What are MyWeb "Contacts"?

Each MyWeb user is a potential contact. Contacts can be your peers, co-workers, friends, or family who share a mutual contact relationship with you; or people you have found to be a valuable resource (experts, influencers, explorers) and added to your contact list.

You might simply add someone to your contact list to keep track of them and easily view their "public" pages. You can make any user your contact without them having to actively reciprocate or agree. It's like "subscribing" to a user. Their name is added to your contact list but your name is not added to theirs. This option is available any time you're viewing another person's saved pages.

Note: If somebody subscribes to you, but you don't want them to, you can block them. Applying the block option to a contact removes your name from their contact list, removes their name from yours, and prevents them from adding you as a contact until you remove the block.

You can also use invitations to build contacts with the people you want to be in mutual contact with—like family. It's the fastest way to make sure all the people you want to share with are connected to each other.
