Our most common reasons for rejecting profiles are:
- A word or phrase that resembles identifying information such as a user ID or an email address is within your profile's headline or text. Identifying information such as conjoined words might reference or in fact be a Yahoo! ID, alias or email address.
- Indication of your subscriber status. Whether by design or accident, indicating your subscriber status within the text of the profile is prohibited. Wording such as "I am currently not a subscriber/member, please reply with private contact information" is a violation of our guidelines
- Profile text contains obscene, offensive, or adult-oriented language
- Profile creator is married
- Profile creator is part a couple seeking singles or other couples
