Every registered Yahoo!7 Dating user has a Dating Mailbox that allows private correspondence in the form of Icebreakers or messages between personals users. Only subscribers may send email messages, but all Yahoo!7 Dating users with a profile may send and receive Icebreakers.
To read Icebreakers in your Dating Mailbox:
- Go to the Yahoo! Dating homepage. You must be logged in.
- Click the "Mailbox" link in the navigation bar.
- On the Mailbox Home page is a list of "Connections" that you have made with other Yahoo!7 Dating members. If you have received an Icebreaker, it appears in orange text in the message preview area for each Connection.
- Click the preview area to view the detailed Connection between you and the sender, see a summary of their profile, and read the Icebreaker.
- If you decide you're not interested in that person and want to say "No Thanks", or you need more information, you can select a one-time Quick Reply from the drop-down list to send to the sender for free. If you'd like to flirt back, there are a few Quick Replies to let you do that too.
