You can't send email directly to or from a Personals Mailbox.

When you reply to a personal profile, you're sending a message from your private Personals Mailbox to the Personals Mailbox of the user who posted the profile. The same process happens when you reply to a message that you've received in your own Personals Mailbox.

Because the Personals Mailbox is not connected to email, we aren't able to forward any messages to another account. You can't send attachments through your Personals Mailbox. Because of the large volume of responses that are sent and received, we can't recover any information you've deleted.

If you would like to save text from a given message for later use, use the My Snippets feature. My Snippets allows you to save text to re-use whenever you're composing or replying to a message.

Please note: If a message includes an email address, you can respond by email, but you'll be leaving the Personals Mailbox environment, and your correspondence is not confidential.
