If you're already a Yahoo!7 Dating subscriber and have a submitted profile:
- Click the "Email Me" button on the profile. (You might need to log in at this point.)
- When you're logged in, you can write to the person who created the profile, and if you choose, you can attach your profile to your reply. See our tips below for ideas on how to write an effective message.
- Click "Send" and your message is sent to the recipient's Personals Mailbox with a link to reply to you. (Note: Your email address is not revealed during this process unless you choose to provide that information in your message.)
Because of the large volume of responses that are sent and received, we can't recover any information after it's been deleted.
Tips for Replying to Personal Profiles

Show an interest by referring to something specific in the profile. If the profile creator mentioned she likes to travel, then talk about your favorite vacation spots or travel horror stories. Initiate a conversation related to one or two things mentioned in the profile. Ask genuine questions.

Be yourself. Let your personality shine through. Be funny but not obscene.

Look smart. Use proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Most people are turned off by poor writing skills and won't even bother reading your reply.

Use My Snippets to save time. Composing or responding to a message from scratch can waste a lot of time. If you've got a favorite introduction or some lines about yourself you happen to like, why re-invent the wheel? Use the "My Snippets" feature to save text to re-use whenever you're typing an email. Simply cut and paste.

Ask questions. Give the profile creator something to think about by referring to the conversation starters listed in their profile. Conversation starters help break the ice when the profile creator decides to reply back to you. Here are some ideas:
- If you won the lottery today, what would you do tomorrow?
- What's your most distinguishing feature—physically or otherwise?
- What type of relationship are you trying to build through Yahoo!7 Dating?
