When someone sends you a message, it is delivered directly to your mailbox on the Yahoo!7 Dating Mailbox server, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To check for new messages at any time, simply log in to your mailbox, and you'll immediately see your unread messages.

If you opted-in to do so during the profile creation process, you automatically receive a daily email notification of new messages available in your Yahoo!7 Dating Mailbox. This is sent to the primary email address listed in your Yahoo!7 account information.

If you would like to be alerted whenever you have a new message in your Yahoo!7Dating Mailbox no matter where you are on the Internet, download Yahoo!7Messenger or use Home Page.

Please note: When you log in to your Yahoo!7 Dating Mailbox, you are shown a "snapshot" of your mailbox at that moment. If you spend a long period of time either composing or reading a message, then you won't be able to see any new messages that arrive in your mailbox during that time. Only when you load a new snapshot of your mailbox home page are you alerted to the presence of new messages. (Yahoo!7Messenger alerts you of new messages at all times.)
