The audio and video content offered by Yahoo!7 News will be in one of the two most widely used formats: Windows Media or RealPlayer. Chances are you already have both players on your system.

The format and speeds a particular provider uses varies.

Currently, NPR audio is streamed in the RealPlayer format. You can download RealPlayer here. Reuters and Associated Press video are available in both RealPlayer and Windows Media formats.

Using the Yahoo!7 News player, you'll only have to enter your preferred player and bandwidth once. For more information about getting the players and general help on audio and video on the Web, please start here: Configuring JavaScript.
