Yes.

Yahoo!7 Mail sets a cookie when you log in to your Yahoo!7 Mail account. The cookie expires automatically after eight hours. Within those eight hours, if you don't sign out or exit the browser, clicking any Yahoo!7 Mail icon automatically takes you into your account—so you don't have to sign in repeatedly.

If you're prompted to accept a cookie after logging in to Yahoo!7 Mail, the only way to access your account is to accept the cookie. Declining the cookie either causes your login session to expire, or might temporarily disable your account in unpredictable ways. If your browser is configured to reject all cookies automatically, you won't be able to log in to Yahoo!7 Mail. Instead, you'll see a page entitled, "An Error Occurred Setting Your User Cookie."

To configure your browser to accept cookies, follow the instructions below for your browser and version.

To enable cookies on Internet Explorer 6.x on a PC:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Select the "Tools" menu and then click "Internet Options."
  3. Select the "Privacy" tab.
  4. Move the slider up or down depending upon the desired level of security you would like.
  5. You can also click the "Advanced" button and select how you would like cookies handled from the options provided.

To enable cookies on other browsers:

Open the browser, and search its help section for "cookies."
