Can I set events to repeat automatically?

Yes, the Yahoo!7 Calendar allows you to add a single event and set it to repeat, so you don't have to add that event multiple times to your calendar.

For example, when you add someone's birthday to Yahoo!7 Calendar, you can set it to repeat each year. Other examples of events you can repeat are class schedules, weekly or monthly meetings, and even your favorite TV shows.

To set an event to repeat, you can use the Repeat options found on the Add Event or Edit Event pages within Yahoo!7 Calendar:

  1. If the Repeat section is not open, click the "Show" link to open it.
  2. Click the appropriate radio button to make the event repeat.
  3. Use the pull-down menus to make your selection of how the event is to repeat (such as "Every Week" or "Every Day" until a specified date).
  4. Click "Save."

Examples:

You can add an event to a Monday, then set the event to repeat "Every Week." This would make the event repeat every Monday.

You can add an event to the 15th of the month, then set the event to repeat "Every Month." This would make the event repeat on the 15th of every month. (You can use this for your paychecks!)
