Initially, Yahoo! Messenger always adds the text I'm mobile to your status when you sign in from your device.

To remove I'm mobile:

1. Sign into Yahoo! Messenger from your device.
2. Choose Preferences.
3. Choose Mobile Status Message.
4. Choose No to remove I'm mobile.
5. Choose OK.

Note: A mobile phone icon is displayed next to your icon in the list.
