Password popup for an external mail account

Description

Error message: “It looks like there might be something wrong with the password settings of the external account [external account name]. Please check your password for this account in Mail Options and try again.”


Resolution

We have received reports that some Yahoo! Mail users are receiving a notice that reads “It looks like there might be something wrong with the password settings of the external account [external account name] Please check your password for this account in Mail Options and try again.”

Status: Our engineering team has resolved this Yahoo! Mail known issue. You should no longer see this error notice.
