Creating a Trip Plan

1. Navigate to the home screen.
2. Flip through the cards (or use the arrows) to find the city you want to create a trip plan for.
3. Click the Create Trip button, or click on city card you wish to create a trip for.
4. Check your starting location. Change if necessary.
5. Set your ending location. This can be the same as your starting location.
6. Set a duration for how much time you want to spend.
7. Set your travel option either walking or driving.
8. Set Things to do filter options to customize what categories of things you would like to see or do.
9. Click the Create trip button after choosing a start time.
10. Your trip plan is now created.

Deleting a trip plan

1. Navigate to the home screen.
2. Touch the Saved Trips icon at the bottom of the screen to view a list of your saved trip plans.
3. Swipe to choose the trip plan you want to delete.
4. Touch the Delete button.

Generating a trip plan for a different city

1. Navigate back to the home screen.
2. Flip through the city cards (or use the arrows) to find the city you want to create a trip plan for.
3. Create another trip plan. (See Above)

Creating multiple trip plans for the same city

1. Navigate to the home screen.
2. Create a trip plan. (See above)
3. Save the trip plan.
4. Repeat the steps until you have the trips you need.
5. To view all your trips, click on My Trips on the home screen and you will be shown all the trip plans you have created. To view the details, simply click on the trip.

Deleting one or more points of interest from my trip plan

Deleting a point of interest (POI) from your trip plan will delete it both from your phone and any stored information on the web.  You will however have to re-save and re-publish your trip plan to the web for your changes to be reflected.

To delete a POI from your trip plan:

1. Navigate to the trip plan you want to modify.
2. Touch the menu icon located in the top right of the list view.
3. From the pull-down menu, touch the Edit icon.
4. Scroll down to the point POI that you wish to delete and touch the red Delete icon next to the POI that you want to delete.
5. Touch the Done button to save your changes.

Adding your own entries into your trip plan

Yes, you now have the option to add new sightseeing locations, restaurants or simply a timed break to sit back and relax. To add a new entry:

1. Simply swipe left or right on the entry above where you would like to add a new entry.
2. Click add attraction to open the add attraction menu.
3. Select the attraction, restaurant or break you want to add. Use the + and – buttons to set how much time you wish to spend at the location and click add attraction. This will then be added to your trip plan.

Changing the order of entries on my trip
Yes! Press and hold the entry you wish to move then drag to the position you want.

• Note: TimeTraveler calculates the trip with the optimal travel route in mind so adjusting the order could increase travel times.

Importing or accessing your trip plans from Yahoo! Travel
This functionality is not currently available in the Yahoo! TimeTraveler app but may be added in the future.

Getting more information about a point of interest (POI)
From your trip plan itinerary, touch the POI that you want more information about. A screen will appear with details about that POI.

Storing your trip plans
Your trip information is stored on your device unless you share it with friends. If shared, it will be published to the web on the site to which you shared it (i.e. Facebook).

Viewing my saved trip plans

1. Navigate to the home screen.
2. Touch the Saved Trips icon to view your saved trip plans.

Managing blocked attractions

1. The "blocked attractions" feature allows you to ensure that places you have visited before or don’t want to see are not suggested to you in any trip plan that is generated. To add an item to the blocked list simply.
2. Swipe to delete the item that you don’t want to see.
3. Select all future trip plans and this will be added to the blocked list.
4. To restore any blocked item, navigate to the home screen.
5. Select more options and navigate to the "Blocked Attractions” tab.
6. Select the item you wish to restore and tap clear selected This item will now be included in suggestions where appropriate moving forward.
