Feature Tips - what to do if you see a green box appear at the top of your browser window

ID: SLN4839
Refers to: Toolbar

Resolution

The toolbar periodically alerts you about helpful toolbar features. Some examples of these tips are:

  • A tip when you visit a site that has a corresponding app in the toolbar.
  • A tip about how to manage space in your toolbar.

Depending on your browser settings, you should typically see each tip only once. We hope you find these reminders useful. However, if you want to stop these feature tips from appearing you can do the following:

  1. Click the  button.
  2. Select Toolbar Preferences. The Toolbar Settings page opens.
  3. Click Enable feature tips to remove the checkmark in the box next to it.
  4. Click I'm Done.
