To add or remove buttons from your toolbar, click on the version of Yahoo! Toolbar that you have installed. 

• Version 1 for Firefox
• Version 2 for Firefox
• Version 6 for Internet Explorer
• Version 7 for Internet Explorer
• Version 8 for Internet Explorer

Toolbar Version 7 for Internet Explorer:

1. Select the Settings button (next to the Bookmarks button) and select Add/Edit Buttons.
2. In the list on the left in the browser window, select the button you want to add and then select Add this button.
3. To see more choices, select the Button Gallery tab. To add a button from this tab, select its Add button. (If a button appears in gray, you've already added it to your Toolbar.)
4. When you're done, select Save Changes.

You may have to refresh Toolbar to see your changes: Select the Settings button and select Refresh Toolbar.

  Removing a button from Toolbar Version 7 for Internet Explorer:

1. Select the Settings button (next to the Bookmarks button) and select Add/Edit Buttons.
2. In the list on the right in the browser window, select the button you want to delete and select the "X" button above the list of buttons.
3. When you're done, select Save Changes.

You may have to refresh Toolbar to see your changes: Select the Settings  |  Refresh Toolbar.

Toolbar Version 1 for Firefox or Toolbar version 6 for Internet Explorer:

Note: You must be signed in to Yahoo! to see your customized buttons on the toolbar. You can sign in by clicking Sign In or signing in to any Yahoo! property. If you're not signed in you'll see the default toolbar.

1. Open a new browser window and select Add/Edit Buttons from either the Toolbar Settings menu or the Personal Options menu under the Pencil menu of the toolbar.
2. Select the + or check the box next to the buttons you want to appear on your toolbar.
3. Uncheck any checked boxes next to buttons you want to remove from your toolbar or click the following: a button name in the area Your Toolbar Buttons at the right, Remove, and Save Changes.
4. Select Finish to save your changes. If you want to change the order of your buttons, you can select Change Order instead of Finish.
5. Your Yahoo! Toolbar refreshes automatically to show your new buttons.

 Toolbar Version 2 for Firefox or Version 8 for Internet Explorer:

To add an app to the Toolbar:

1. Select the button at the right end of My Apps.
2. Select + Add for each App you want to add. To see more available Apps, use the forward and back buttons near the bottom of the tab. You can also search for Apps using the search box at the top of the Add Apps tab. Or you can add any app you know the URL for.
3. Select I'm Done.

You may have to refresh your Yahoo! Toolbar to see your changes: Select the button | Refresh Toolbar.

To remove an App from the Toolbar:

1. Select the button at the right end of My Apps.
2. Select on the Change Layout tab.
3. Move your cursor over the App you want to delete, and a  (delete) button appears.
4. Select the  button.
5. Select I'm Done.
