To determine which version of Yahoo! Toolbar you have installed, locate the Settings button and match it to your browser below:

Toolbar v8 for Internet Explorer and Toolbar v2 for Firefox
In the upper-right corner section of your browser window, you will have either a or  icon:

Toolbar v7 for Internet Explorer
In the upper-middle section of your browser window, you will have a icon. If you don't have an avatar or you're not signed in to Yahoo!, your icon might look like, or :

Toolbar v6 for Internet Explorer and Toolbar v1 for Firefox
In the upper-left section of your browser window, you will have a pencil  icon:
