This article explains the features and functionality of Yahoo! Sketch-a-Search.

Yahoo! Sketch-a-Search is an interactive mapping application that can help find restaurants within a "sketched" area on your detailed local map. In Yahoo! Sketch-a-Search, instead of typing keywords to search for a restaurant., you can move your mouse cursor in a circle on a map to identify where you want to search.

To draw on the map:

1. Click Tap & Draw to Search.
2. Move your cursor over the map. While holding your mouse button down, and drag your cursor over the map to trace a circle. Location pins will be displayed within the circled area and a list of restaurants is displayed with more information.
3. Click a pin or the list to the left to find out more information on that restaurant

You can further refine your search by clicking Cities to search a specific city or by clicking Filter to limit your search by cuisine, ambiance, and rating.
