Keyword shortcuts are special words and symbols designed to help you find answers quickly. When you use keyword shortcuts as part of your Yahoo! Search, specialized information appears on your search results page.

Site Navigation:  To jump directly to a Yahoo! product or service, search on the product name followed by a !

Calculator:   Use Yahoo! Search to do basic mathematical calculations. You can add +, subtract -, multiply *, and divide /.

Exchange Rates:    To find the exchange rate for a unit of currency or to convert one currency to another, search on convert and the currency or currencies you would like to convert. If you include the amount to convert, Yahoo! Search converts it.   

Weights, Measures, and Temperature Converter:    To convert any number of metric or Imperial/English units in whole or decimal form, search on convert and the units you would like to convert. Use * to indicate degrees. If you include the amount to convert, Yahoo! Search converts it. If you leave off the to and the second unit, Yahoo! Search picks an appropriate unit to convert to.

Package Tracking:    Check the status of packages shipped via:

• UPS: Enter the tracking code.
• FedEx: Search on fedex plus the tracking number.
• USPS: Search on usps plus the tracking code.

UPC Codes:    To find manufacturer information for any product, search on the UPC bar code number.    

ISBN Numbers:    To find the best price on any book, search on the International Standard Book Number.   

Patents:    For detailed information on any U.S. Patent, search on patent and any U.S. patent number.

Aircraft Registration Information:    To find detailed manufacturer, model, and owner information about aircraft registered in the U.S., search on the FAA Registration number, or "N-number" which can be found on the airplane tail.   

Health Results:    Yahoo! gives you a quick list of articles and other resources when you enter a health term such as alzheimers or acne.  

Dictionary Definitions:    To get the primary definition of any word in the Houghton Mifflin Dictionary, search on define and any English word. 

Encyclopedia Lookup:    Get an encyclopedia entry for a topic by searching on the topic and facts.   

Synonym Finder:    Find synonyms from Roget's Thesaurus by searching on synonym and any English word.

Images:    To see images of puppies, cars, celebrities, and more, search on the topic and images.   

News:    To get current headlines, search on news and any topic.   

Stock Quotes:    For the latest price, intraday chart, and news headlines, search on quote and the ticker symbol for any company traded on the New York, American, or NASDAQ stock exchanges.   

Sports Scores:    To view real time scores and stats for recently played games, search on the name of a popular baseball, basketball, hockey, or football team and scores. Add the sport name to your search to get the data for your favorite college football and basketball teams.   

Music Artists:    Yahoo! Search shows music tracks and links to albums, lyrics, photos, and videos of popular bands when you enter the artist or band’s name.

Movie Trailers:    To preview movie trailers, type the movie title and the word trailers.   

Movie Showtimes:    Find out what's playing at theaters near you by searching on showtimes and a location.   

Shopping Results:    Find specifications, reviews, prices, and retailers for your product. Search on the brand name or the brand and a product number.   

Recipes:    Find a new recipe for chicken soup and many other dishes. Type recipe and the main ingredient.   

Gas Prices:    To find the best price on gas in your area, search on gas and a location.   

Traffic Reports:    For current traffic conditions, search on the location and traffic.  

Weather:    For current weather conditions, search on weather and a location.   

Local Search:    Find business names, numbers, and addresses in any U.S. location by searching on the business category or business name and location.   

Maps:    To map any U.S. location search on the street address, city, and state or the word map and a location.   

Flight Info:    For flight departure, arrival, and status information, search on the airline name or airline code and flight number.   

Airport Information:    For the latest airport conditions, maps, directions, local weather, and airport terminal maps, search on the airport name or airport code and the term airport.   

City Visitor Guide:    Enter a popular city name and find detailed information about the location, including travel and visitor information.   

Hotel Comparison:    View the most popular hotels in any location, including the hotel's rating and lowest price per night, by searching on a location and the type of accommodations desired.

Holidays:    Want to know the day and date of a national holiday? Type when it is and the holiday's name.   

Time Zones:    To view the current time or to determine the time zone for any location, search on time or time zone and the location.   

Area Codes:    To find the area code for a city or to see which cities are within an area code, search on the area code or city name and area code.   

ZIP Codes:    To find the ZIP code for a city or see what cities are within a ZIP code, search on the city name and zip code.
