This article describes the steps to take when your website does not show the correct title or description within Yahoo! Search.

The title and description you see for your site in Yahoo! Search is generated based on your site content at the time of indexing. The organic search results on Yahoo! Search are now powered by Bing, and the Bing crawler generally uses the document title (found between the <title> tags in your source code) as the listing title and in most cases the description metatag if available:

   <META NAME="description" CONTENT="Your description here">

If you wish to change or update your title or description, you can do so by updating the corresponding items on your page. Please note that we are not able to manually change the title of description of a listing.
