Sportacular 3.0 is designed to give sports fans their scores, news and stats as quickly as possible in a clean, beautiful layout.  Experience fast, personalized, and easy access to live scores and information on your favorite teams, players, and leagues.  More Yahoo! Sports content has been added throughout the app to make Sportacular the single tap answer to all of your sports needs.

Redesigned Navigation – The app has been simplified to help you find what you’re looking for in a few taps as possible.

Four Main Tabs – The bottom tab bar features have been consolidated into four sections:

• Scores | Games | Set alerts, previews and recaps, odds, picks, stats, chat, and of course, live play by play.
• Teams | Standings, team news, schedules
• News | Yahoo! Editorial content
• Players | League and team stat leaders, player news

Sidebar – Swipe the app to the right or tap on the top left icon to unveil the new sidebar menu. This makes it faster than ever to switch between leagues and sections. This is where you’ll find Profile and App Info as well.  You can also use this menu to quickly edit your leagues.

• Quick Stats – You now have access to more stats and faster access to stat leaders. Tap on a team icon or a player to get quick access to related stats and news.
• Breaking News – Yahoo! Sports content has been added throughout the app, including game previews and recaps, team news, and on player pages.

What’s been removed in Sportacular 3.0?

• Check-in has been replaced with simple sharing to Twitter and Facebook to make it easier to spread the word about a game. Look for a new and improved experience in future releases.
• Removing leagues – You can now edit the order of the league list but you cannot remove a league at this point. We will add this in a future release.
• Playoffs and Wild Card standings - Have been temporarily removed while they are being reworked.  We will add this in a future release.
