Clearing Android app data and cache
Resolution
To clear the cache and data from an Android app:
- Press your device's Home button.
- Press your device's Menu button.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Application Manager.
- Scroll to find the app you want to clean up, then tap the app icon.
- Tap Force Stop.
- Tap Clear Data.
- Tap Clear Cache.
Note: Clearing the app cache and data will remove any custom options and settings.
